Michael joined RiskPoint from AXA XL, where he was the Head of Mergers & Acquisitions Insurance for North America and helped build AXA’s M&A underwriting platform from the ground up. There, he led a team of North American underwriters for all transactional risk insurance products across the U.S., Canada and Latin America. Prior to AXA XL, Michael also served as an executive in the transactional risk practice of Chubb, where he led the underwriting of Representations & Warranties and Contingent Liability insurance products. He also previously held the position of Assistant General Counsel at Focus Financial Partners, a publicly traded financial services firm, and as a Corporate Associate at the global law firm Vinson & Elkins LLP. Michael received his undergraduate degree from Boston College and his J.D. from Duke University School of Law

Vince joined RiskPoint from Ambridge Partners LLC, where he served as an underwriting executive and counsel in Ambridge’s U.S. transactional risk practice. There, Vince acted as Underwriting Manager for the East region and led a team of transactional risk attorneys and analysts in underwriting and structuring M&A insurance products for complex private equity and strategic transactions. Prior to joining Ambridge, Vince practiced as a Corporate/M&A associate at Cole Schotz P.C. Vince holds a J.D. from Rutgers Law School and an undergraduate degree from Rutgers Business School.

Carolyn McNamara has joined the RiskPoint Americas team as an M&A underwriter. Carolyn has 4 years of combined experience as an M&A attorney at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP and Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP, working on a wide range of international and domestic M&A and other corporate transactions. Carolyn holds a J.D., magna cum laude, from Hofstra University School of Law and an undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University at Buffalo.

Jordan joined RP Underwriting in 2022, having previously worked at Thompson Hine LLP and Bressler, Amery & Ross, P.C.. He has combined experience as an M&A attorney working on a wide range of international and domestic M&A and other corporate transactions. Jordan holds a J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law and a B.A. from Cornell University, where he doubled in Government and History.

Mitchell joined RP Underwriting from the law firm Brewer Attorneys & Counselors, where he spent three years as a Legal Investigator supporting senior attorneys on a variety of high-profile matters and litigations. As an M&A Analyst, Mitchell provides critical deal support to our team and promotes the growth of our business through specialized attention to operations, underwriting execution and client development. Mitchell received his undergraduate degree in International Politics from Penn State University.

Sean joined RP Underwriting after five years at the law firm Brewer, Attorneys & Counselors.  In his previous role, he provided business advisory & litigation consulting on a variety of matters and managed the firm’s offshore operations.  As an M&A Analyst, Sean provides deal support to our team through focus on operations, underwriting execution and client development.  Sean received his undergraduate degree in History from Colby College.

Maria José joined RiskPoint in 2023, having previously worked as an M&A attorney at international law firm Dentons in Colombia, in advising foreign and domestic clients in cross-border transactions across multiple industries. Maria José holds a J.D. from Universidad de los Andes in Bogota, Colombia and an LL.M. from New York University (NYU) in New York, United States.
